Robert

profile-checkedOxbridge Physics Graduate

Robert has been tutoring professionally since 2017, and further to delivering the UK, IB and AP curricula, has taught physics and mathematics at Universities both in the UK and US. Robert firmly believes that, whatever subject you are attempting to master, curiosity is indispensable for long-term success. Learning how to ask questions, and being strict with yourself about the answers you give is how science and maths work best.

Outreach and widening participation are endeavours close to Robert's heart; he regularly speaks to high-school age students about his research, and physics more generally. Outside of his teaching work, Robert is a finishing PhD researcher in particle cosmology who has collaborated on research projects ranging from dark matter interactions with supernovae neutrinos, cosmological phase transitions, and models of the Universe with warped extra dimensions. Robert has also spent time working in plasma physics at the California Institute of Technology (Caltech)
