Vivienne graduated from the University of Cambridge with a degree in Biological Sciences in 2017, building on an exceptional academic foundation that includes four A*s at A Level in Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and Mathematics.
Working as a full-time professional tutor since 2020, Vivienne is deeply passionate about maths and science education. She believes that scientific literacy provides an essential toolkit for navigating today’s information-rich world, empowering students to evaluate evidence, think critically, and approach problems with confidence.
Since 2020, Vivienne has worked as a full-time professional tutor, supporting students across Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and Maths from KS3 to A Level. Alongside one-on-one tutoring, she has also contributed as an educational content reviewer in various capacities and supported students applying to Oxbridge, guiding them through the academic expectations and interview process.
Committed to continuous professional development, Vivienne holds a Professional Tutoring Certificate and is trained in NSPCC Child Protection, Safeguarding, Children’s Online Safety, and Tutoring Standards Pedagogy. She sees herself as a lifelong learner, always seeking new ways to deepen her pedagogical expertise.
Her lessons make purposeful use of varied teaching media and interactive online tools. Vivienne’s teaching is grounded in active participation and well-scaffolded processes, where small, clearly defined objectives help students build the confidence that truly makes a difference on exam day.
Big thank you, Vivienne, for helping my daughter with her GCSEs, she got some brilliant results yesterday (Combined Science 9-8, Maths 8 and Statistics 8). We are so proud of her. Also, she got into her preferred sixth form college. She keeps telling everyone how nice she is. She is so patient and made sure that she fully understood all of the questions.
