A PhD graduate from Imperial College London, and with many years of industry experience in genetics research, Nisha turned her focus to education back in 2018. She has now tutored GCSE Science and A level Biology extensively, both in various capacities and across most exam boards, complementing her scientific knowledge with a unique insight into the way to best approach examinations within the UK curriculum.
With a genuine passion for helping students develop a love of science, she adapts every session to an individual's way of learning, working with students across age groups and at various positions within their studies.
Nisha has been a full-time professional tutor specialising in GCSE Science and A level Biology since 2018. Since this time she has taught privately and professionally, as well as for charitable organisations within the UK working with underprivileged students.
Thanks to her many years prior in professional research, Nisha was already no stranger to the art of scientific essay-writing (notably important within A level essay requirements), and has been able to use that to her advantage when delivering A level Biology tuition, supporting students not only in understanding content, but how to deliver it correctly under exam conditions to pick up maximum marks.
My daughter really enjoys the sessions with Nisha, which has made such a difference to her level of knowledge and also confidence in Biology. It is now her favourite subject.
