As an ex-assistant head of Maths at a UK secondary school, Elaine joined JTC Education to share in her expertise in 11+, KS3, and GCSE Maths. With a PGCE and qualified teacher status, Elaine has spent over 18 years focussed on mathematics at secondary level, giving her unique insight and familiarity with maths at this level.
Alongside her wealth of experience, her approach is defined by diligence and meticulous preparation so as to ensure students have a comprehensive and holistic plan in place to help them reach their goals in maths.
Elaine began her teaching career just before the turn of the millennium back in 1999. After more than two fantastic decades of classroom teaching, she pivoted to full-time professional online tutoring, where she now guides multiple students in a 1-1 and group capacity, ensuring they can reach their full potential in GCSE Maths. Having balanced her teaching with senior leadership roles such as Head of Year and Assistant Head of Maths, her career and experience has been enhanced by a wealth of experience in all that is student welfare and parental communication.
Of particular note is Elaine's exceptional handling of neurodiverse and ADHD students like our son. Her understanding and adaptability make her an exemplary educator who goes above and beyond.
