With more than ten years of classroom experience, Becky holds a First Class degree, a Master’s (with Merit) in Mathematics, and a PGCE. She combines deep subject knowledge with the pedagogical skill to turn a subject many students find daunting into one where they can develop genuine problem-solving ability, analytical thinking, and, above all, the confidence to tackle any question.
Having completed her academic journey in Mathematics to postgraduate level, Becky chose to pursue her passion for sharing the subject with others. She completed her PGCE with Qualified Teacher Status in 2015 and went on to build a successful career as an educator.
She has since taught at Outstanding-rated schools in the UK, working across KS3 through to A Level and covering all major exam boards. This breadth allows her to see the subject as a continuum, understanding not only what students need to know, but how each concept builds on the last, and where gaps at one level can become obstacles at the next.
Now working exclusively as a full-time tutor, Becky focuses on one-to-one teaching, where she can tailor the pace, approach, and focus to each student’s individual needs. She is particularly skilled at supporting students who have been told (or have come to believe) that maths isn’t for them, helping them arrive at the exam with the skills and confidence to prove otherwise.
