Asa is a University of Cambridge graduate with a talent for making abstract mathematical ideas feel intuitive and accessible. After completing his undergraduate degree, he began his work as an online tutor at some of the best renowned companies while deepening his own technical expertise through a postgraduate course in Applied Machine Learning Systems at UCL.
Having himself achieved straight L9s at GCSE and straight A*s at A level, Asa aims to centre lessons around the same study skills and problem-solving strategies that led to his own success.
Asa discovered his passion for teaching in 2022, working with students from 12 to 18 years old across a range of abilities. His experience spans advanced Mathematics, Economics, and university admissions preparation, though he has since focused his practice on Mathematics — his area of greatest strength and interest.
He now tutors Maths from KS3 to A level Mathematics across all major exam boards, helping students to consolidate understanding, develop problem-solving confidence, and perform at their best under exam conditions.
