Alice is an Oxford graduate with a Master’s degree in Engineering Science, a PGCE in Secondary Mathematics, and over fourteen years of classroom experience. Her academic background gives her a natural depth in applied mathematics and mechanics, and she brings to her teaching the same analytical rigour that underpinned her training at Oxford.
Alongside her work in schools, Alice has demonstrated a strong commitment to widening participation in STEM, having founded and led an education charity dedicated to supporting girls and young women in the UK.
Alice began her teaching career in 2012 at a high-performing London school, going on to build a distinguished career as an educator. She quickly progressed into leadership roles, becoming Deputy Leader of Mathematics, responsible for curriculum implementation and professional development across the department. Across her career, she has taught from KS3 through to A Level, including Further Mathematics and IB Higher Level, working across all major exam boards.
Since 2019, Alice has combined her classroom role with the one of professional online tutor, drawn by the depth of impact that one-to-one teaching allows. In her lessons, she works closely with each student to develop precise mathematical thinking, strengthen problem-solving ability, and ensure confident, consistent performance at exam time.

Alice helped my son to prepare for his A-level physics, maths and further maths exams. After the initial meeting, she prepared an exam calendar and tailored the lessons around the exams.
