With over 14 years’ experience in education and extensive examining experience at both GCSE and A Level, Dr. Adele is a specialist across all three sciences at GCSE level, and Biology at A level.
Dr. Adele holds a degree in Zoology, a PhD in Evolutionary Genetics, and a PGCE in Secondary Science. This exceptional academic background, combined with her extensive classroom experience, leadership roles, and examining expertise, enables her to build strong scientific foundations and prepare students to perform with confidence under exam conditions.
Dr. Adele began her teaching career in 2012 and has since taught across the full secondary science curriculum, from KS3 Science and GCSE Combined and Triple Science to A Level Biology, working with all major exam boards.
Her role as Head of Biology at a prestigious British grammar school gave her a broad and strategic understanding of how scientific learning develops over time, how topics connect across key stages, and which core concepts are essential for long-term academic success.
Since 2022, Dr. Adele has focused fully on one-to-one teaching, balancing her work as a professional tutor with her role as a GCSE and A Level examiner for two major exam boards. As a result, her lessons remain closely aligned with current assessment standards and tailored to each student’s individual goals.
Adele has such enthusiasm for the subject and an excellent teaching style, which converted my science-hating daughter into a science genius, giving out science facts in the middle of the supermarket! Nothing short of a miracle! High recommended!!

My daughter went from struggling in Physics and Chemistry in year 10 to getting an A* in Chemistry and an A in Biology and Physics. Adele took her time teaching her and supported my daughter throughout her GCSE.

We feel very fortunate to have found Adele to help support and guide our daughter with science in GCSE year. We initially started with a few 1:2:1 sessions over the summer as I wasn’t sure how engaged our daughter would be with online learning. After the first 1:2:1 lesson she was buzzing and wanted to tell us all about everything she had learnt (a first in science!) — I knew we had found a gem of a teacher.
