Key Stage 3

Key stage 3 is all about laying foundations for the GCSE years to come. Whilst we are familiar with what is expected from the UK curriculum in each year group, we commonly stray from it as we see fit, recognising the importance of planting a seed of inspiration in students of this age group. We equally anticipate the challenging and workload-heavy GCSE years to come; if a student is capable of understanding a concept at a higher level, we encourage them to get ahead of the game.

Adam says: "I delight in being able to talk about all things language and literature with young and malleable minds. Having always found immeasurable joy in reading, I deem it a remarkable privilege to share such joy with others by delving deeper into the power of words.

It is my sincere belief that all students are capable of achieving top grades when equipped with the appropriate guidance and mentoring. I take great pleasure in seeing students reach their full potential through the engaging lessons and practical tools I can provide.

When it comes to business [exams], I focus on the strategic application of relevant knowledge in accordance with mark schemes, aiming to give my students the academic confidence to respond effectively to any question."

Adam graduated from the University of Cambridge, achieving a first class honours degree in English and academic prizes in every year of study. In 2020, he achieved a distinction in the rigorous LLM Law conversion offered by BPP Law School, finding himself unexpectedly enamoured with the world of teaching in the very same year. Beginning with one student, he quickly grew into a full timetable, taking on a part-time job with JTC Education.
